The Kid's Calendar is keyed to the Family Friendly Options on the GGNRA Endangered Species Big Year Checklist. Each month has a special family-friendly species and action item specifically designed for kids!

GGNRA Endangered Species Big Year Poster Contest

Make a poster featuring one of the 33 local endangered species in the Golden Gate National Parks to be displayed at Earth Day events at Crissy Field, McLaren Park and other public locations. All submissions receive a free eco-passport to the April 19th Earth Stroll adventure at Crissy Field. Grand prizes of $50 program certificates to the Crissy Field Center for each of the four age classes:
5 years and under, 6-8, 9-12, and13-18.

Poster Contest Requirements:

• Maximum size of 11" x 17"

• Write your name, age and address on backside corner of poster if you'd like to receive your free Earth Stroll eco-passport.

• By April 12, 2008, Drop-off your poster at the Crissy Field Center OR mail to:
